Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bernardo Abadie took the kick off in the first half of the match. João Augusto de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Nunes in the 3rd minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Apeel's Luís Fabiano Fantini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nestor Cedro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Capixaba came free, but Nestor Cedro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nestor Cedro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Apeel got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Coelho. If Bernardo Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Luís Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Nestor Cedro made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Eagles FC's Zé Pedro Velloso got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Abadie in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Augusto de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Apeel's zone, Bernardo Abadie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Augusto de Souza came out of the goal and Bernardo Abadie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th match minute, Apeel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Marko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Augusto de Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. When Eagles FC's Bernardo Abadie in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Apeel's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Eagles FC defense, Luís Fabiano Fantini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Cedro. The Eagles FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Cedro should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fabiano Fantini to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Sílvio Luís Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Cedro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Durval Valadares might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Cedro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Durval Valadares ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute Sílvio Luís Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cedro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Augusto de Souza having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Eagles FC's Josh Fiteni got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 83rd minute, Bernardo Abadie fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of João Augusto de Souza, passed just outside the right post. Eagles FC's Nestor Cedro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís Coelho in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Eagles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Marko to maneuver through the defense. Cássio Capixaba struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Nestor Cedro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apeel.
