In the 9th minute Oséas Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bultrim EC's Armando Ceresso got a free kick in the 10th minute. But to his dismay, Felippe Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Márcio Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelson Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After recieving a nice pass, INDIGO's Sydney Leite tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the INDIGO defense, Vito Bastos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelson Maciel. The INDIGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelson Maciel should have stopped the shot. Nelson Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Edson Zonta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INDIGO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bultrim EC the free kick. After 39 played minutes INDIGO got a freekick which was hit by Edson Zonta. After having played for 42 minutes, Felippe Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bultrim EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felippe Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bultrim EC's Oséas Pitta got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felippe Moreno to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Vito Bastos took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Nelson Maciel to make any attempt to save it. In the 90thth minute of the game Felippe Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INDIGO's Nelson Maciel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bultrim EC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
