Luiz Gustavo de Amorim started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Luiz Gustavo de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cipriano Sá scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Cearense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Romeu Cavalcante came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the BR City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeu Cavalcante couldn't finish the play. After 12 minutes, Renato Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parque Gramado FC and the BR City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Parque Gramado FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Renato Veiga hit a great ball. Reynaldo Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Parque Gramado FC's Daniel Cearense got control of the ball when Cipriano Sá tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Ortiz in the 20th minute of the match. If Cipriano Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Paulo Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. BR City FC's Rogério Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, one of Parque Gramado FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Parque Gramado FC. 2-0 came through a penalty shot after 35 played minutes, when BR City FC:s Nicolas Trancoso calmly waited for Parque Gramado FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. After 41 minutes, Reynaldo Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BR City FC and the Parque Gramado FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, BR City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Vieira to maneuver through the defense. If Tomé Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomé Terra took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Monteiro. Daniel Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Glauco Cabral was the one to do the kick off. When Luiz Gustavo de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the BR City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Gustavo de Amorim couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute Cipriano Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BR City FC's Luiz Gustavo de Amorim managed to work through Parque Gramado FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Luiz Gustavo de Amorim dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. With a little luck, BR City FC's Daniel Monteiro got control of the ball when Renato Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Cearense came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by BR City FC's Luiz Gustavo de Amorim. But to his dismay, Luiz Gustavo de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Daniel Cearense came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by BR City FC's Reynaldo Vieira. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 72nd minute, Oséas Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Favoretto in the 75th minute of play. After 76 played minutes BR City FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paulo Lopez. BR City FC's Daniel Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Veiga in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Parque Gramado FC's Antônio Varela got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Cipriano Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rd minute, Luiz Gustavo de Amorim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BR City FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BR City FC had played much better football throughout.
