Dênis Luz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doriva Vander having to make a save. 12 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luís Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Válbson Velloso. Jacovense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Luís Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Locomotiva Futebol Show's Doriva Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Maciel in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute Sílvio Luís Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válbson Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dênis Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Valdemar Rezende was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Locomotiva Futebol Show's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jacovense the free kick. In the 24th minute, Valdemar Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Válbson Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Vinhas in the 28th minute of the match. Augusto Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Doriva Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Augusto Maciel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Doriva Vander, 2-1. Dênis Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doriva Vander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Caco Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Locomotiva Futebol Show's Doriva Vander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Locomotiva Futebol Show from getting a goal against them. Caco Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caco Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Locomotiva Futebol Show's Caco Sena got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 48thth minute of the game Augusto Maciel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Locomotiva Futebol Show's Doriva Vander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Dênis Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacovense's supporters rose to their feet, but Dênis Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doriva Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 54 minutes, Augusto Maciel made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Locomotiva Futebol Show's Doriva Vander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Jacovense's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Vinhas came free, but Válbson Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Locomotiva Futebol Show booed when Jacovense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doriva Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Maciel's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Jacovense's Felippe Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Maciel in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doriva Vander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Válbson Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Augusto Maciel notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Locomotiva Futebol Show's Doriva Vander. Doriva Vander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Locomotiva Futebol Show's Doriva Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Maciel in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Maciel in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doriva Vander saved Locomotiva Futebol Show from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, Jacovense's Dênis Luz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doriva Vander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felippe Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Doriva Vander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacovense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Maciel in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doriva Vander saved Locomotiva Futebol Show from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, Locomotiva Futebol Show's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Maciel came free, but Doriva Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doriva Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Jacovense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
