Válbson Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. A collision led to Jacovense getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Felippe Alcântara hit a great ball. Válbson Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raí Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Augusto Maciel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jacovense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave formigaz21 the free kick. In the 15th minute, Augusto Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Válbson Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Paulo Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 27th play minute Dênis Luz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nemesio Lopes. 1-1. Tiago Gabriel Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Válbson Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Jacovense got a freekick which was hit by Tião Sá. If Tiago Gabriel Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Jacovense got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Rocha. Augusto Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Paulo Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Paulo Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to formigaz21 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Luiz Paulo Ortiz hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Maciel to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, formigaz21's José Paulo Machado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Válbson Velloso. Válbson Velloso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 56th minute, Jacovense's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after José Paulo Machado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Válbson Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Machado in the 59th minute of the match. Nemesio Lopes came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacovense's Dênis Luz. But to his dismay, Dênis Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Luz in the 70th minute of play forced formigaz21's goalkeeper Nemesio Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemesio Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Paulo Machado struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Válbson Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for formigaz21. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Raí Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. formigaz21's supporters rose to their feet, but Raí Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Válbson Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Albertinho Peixoto fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored formigaz21's protests and gave Albertinho Peixoto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jacovense booed when formigaz21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Maciel in the 86th minute of play forced formigaz21's goalkeeper Nemesio Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Jacovense's goalkeeper Válbson Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Gabriel Bertassi. In the 89th minute Wanderson Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válbson Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Jacovense's goalkeeper Válbson Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Gabriel Bertassi. Raí Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacovense's Augusto Maciel got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. formigaz21's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Jacovense had won, even though formigaz21 had held more of the ball.
