Augusto Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Linhares having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Dênis Luz put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vicente Linhares. 92 minutes into the match, Moraujo's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Maciel came free, but Vicente Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Válbson Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renatinho Domingues in the 97th minute. With an all-out effort, Moraujo's Válbson Velloso threw himself towards the right post 99 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dito Netto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
