Vulcanos's Mané Pimenta managed to work through formigaz21's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Mané Pimenta dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Paulo Ortiz got free with Cristiano Petito in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristiano Petito was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Paulo Ortiz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Vulcanos's goalkeeper Cristiano Petito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Gabriel Bertassi. Tiago Gabriel Bertassi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Cristiano Petito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th match minute, Vulcanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Raí Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Petito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After taking down the ball on formigaz21's corner Wanderson Soeiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristiano Petito quite easily take care of the ball. Tiago Gabriel Bertassi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Cristiano Petito made a huge save. Tiago Gabriel Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Petito having to interfere. After 47 played minutes formigaz21 got a freekick which was hit by Wincent Glozor. 48 minutes into the game, Israel Lages cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Nemesio Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Gabriel Bertassi made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Raí Vidal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Petito. Vulcanos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raí Vidal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Raí Vidal scored 3-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano Petito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Vulcanos's Nilson Jacinto got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Mané Pimenta fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vulcanos's protests and gave Mané Pimenta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Mané Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Nilson Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Petito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mané Pimenta's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nemesio Lopes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nemesio Lopes came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Vulcanos's Válbson Meirelles. But to his dismay, Válbson Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. If Tiago Gabriel Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Vidal in the 87th minute of play forced Vulcanos's goalkeeper Cristiano Petito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Tiago Gabriel Bertassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristiano Petito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raí Vidal went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Cristiano Petito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The Vulcanos players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented formigaz21 from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
