Spectators: 6100 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Natã Sanches took the kick off in the first half of the match. Carlos Fernando Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Aparecido having to interfere. If Carlos Fernando Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galaticos's Francisco Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Teles in the 11th minute of play. When Natã Sanches came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the União flasco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natã Sanches couldn't finish the play. Lucas Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Galaticos's Francisco Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Sanches in the 23rd minute of play. União flasco's Júlio Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo Linares in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Frederico de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galaticos's Francisco Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Teles in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute Severino Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Galaticos booed when União flasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luís Paulo Linares came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Galaticos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Paulo Linares couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Fernando Martins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Natã Sanches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Galaticos's Francisco Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico de Brito in the 54th minute of play. With his leg Francisco Pirani managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when União flasco's Severino Teles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carlos Fernando Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, União flasco's Frederico de Brito got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute Luís Paulo Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Carlos Fernando Martins notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of União flasco's Júlio Aparecido. Júlio Aparecido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisco Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Carlos Fernando Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Júlio Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Natã Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Pirani came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by União flasco's Frederico de Brito. But to his dismay, Frederico de Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Mané Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Aparecido having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
