In the 7thth minute of the game Natanael Cosme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xodó da Vovó A.C.'s Gilmar Pirani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Xodó da Vovó A.C.'s Doriva Dias got a free kick in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Xodó da Vovó A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Natanael Cosme came free, but Gilmar Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Zézinho Urbano put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Danilo Mandrak. Dadá Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Zézinho Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th match minute, Maranhão 18 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Faria to maneuver through the defense. Xodó da Vovó A.C.'s Gilmar Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Alagoano in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Joaquim Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Danilo Mandrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The supporters of Maranhão 18 FC booed when Xodó da Vovó A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 played minutes Xodó da Vovó A.C.'s Zézinho Urbano stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Danilo Mandrak stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Maranhão 18 FC of the goal. In the 81stth minute of the game Natanael Cosme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xodó da Vovó A.C.'s Gilmar Pirani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Zézinho Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zézinho Urbano got free with Danilo Mandrak in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zézinho Urbano scored 0-4 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danilo Mandrak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xodó da Vovó A.C. played a much better game than Maranhão 18 FC and deserved their victory. The Maranhão 18 FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
