Claudinho Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dida de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 minutes, Lucas Luz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the União flasco and the Os Assombrados players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucas Luz hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Natã Sanches fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored União flasco's protests and gave Natã Sanches a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Os Assombrados booed when União flasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natã Sanches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Claudinho Mangueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Aparecido was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Teles in the 28th minute of play forced Os Assombrados's goalkeeper Dida de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Aparecido having to interfere. If Natã Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dida de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Teles in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, União flasco's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Claudinho Mangueira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jean Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Aparecido having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinho Mangueira to strike the kick off in the second half. Severino Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Dida de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Claudinho Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinho Mangueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio Aparecido having to make a save. Claudinho Mangueira scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Aparecido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jean Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Os Assombrados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Gomes couldn't finish the play. Dida de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Sanches in the 77th minute of the match. União flasco's Natã Sanches got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd match minute, Os Assombrados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Gomes to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Natã Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot. União flasco's supporters rose to their feet, but Natã Sanches was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dida de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Severino Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jean Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Os Assombrados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Gomes couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natã Sanches in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida de Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The nice shot from Severino Teles in the 96thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Dida de Amaral had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. There was no doubt that Os Assombrados were the better team. Os Assombrados's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
