The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dário Nascimento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moisés Lago in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dário Nascimento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mário Urbano's late challenge caught a Corinthians Virtual FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mário Urbano helped the player get up and apologised. Mário Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Corinthians Virtual FC's Moisés Lago got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moisés Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aílton Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Dino Arósio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giant Killing United. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moisés Lago during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Corinthians Virtual FC's Moisés Lago dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The supporters of Corinthians Virtual FC booed when Giant Killing United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Moisés Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moisés Lago made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moisés Lago in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dário Nascimento saved Giant Killing United from getting behind. Corinthians Virtual FC's Dino Arósio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Corinthians Virtual FC from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Pedro de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmílson Cosme during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Giant Killing United got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Cosme. Dino Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Aílton Gaspars short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Dino Arósio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. During the 69th minute of the match Moisés Lago completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Moisés Lago a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Moisés Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, Giant Killing United's Aílton Gaspar made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dino Arósio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angelo Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience held their breath when Adilson Pinheiro in the 78th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Dário Nascimento's left hand side. Yao Lang Si struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Dário Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corinthians Virtual FC. After 83 played minutes Giant Killing United got a freekick which was hit by Aílton Gaspar. In the 91st minute, Adilson Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
