Moisés Lago struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Samuel de Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corinthians Virtual FC. Moisés Lago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel de Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. When Jonas Meira fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibiatiara FC's protests and gave Jonas Meira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ibiatiara FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jonas Meira hit a great ball. Ibiatiara FC's Samuel de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Lago in the 7th minute of play. When Jarbas Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Corinthians Virtual FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarbas Jacinto couldn't finish the play. Samuel de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wen Wei Di in the 15th minute of play. Kaká Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Dino Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes of play, Corinthians Virtual FC's Moisés Lago made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel de Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuel de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Lago in the 27th minute of play. Wen Wei Di sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Corinthians Virtual FC's Dino Arósio got control of the ball when Simão Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Corinthians Virtual FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Gomes came free, but Dino Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moisés Lago in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Wen Wei Di managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corinthians Virtual FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wen Wei Di was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moisés Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belmiro Leão's late challenge caught a Corinthians Virtual FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belmiro Leão helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Moisés Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corinthians Virtual FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Lago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Jarbas Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaká Gomes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Kaká Gomes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corinthians Virtual FC's Dino Arósio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Moisés Lago sped through Ibiatiara FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samuel de Souza. When Ademar Pitta fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibiatiara FC's protests and gave Ademar Pitta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, Ibiatiara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Netto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Moisés Lago got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Álvaro Albuquerque hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Samuel de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moisés Lago took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel de Souza. Samuel de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Moisés Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Samuel de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the match Corinthians Virtual FC got a corner. Ibiatiara FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Donato Ferraz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Donato Ferraz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Samuel de Souza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Corinthians Virtual FC's Moisés Lago in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ibiatiara FC's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 90 in the game by Moisés Lago from a close distance when the talented Samuel de Souza managed to make a qualified save. Ibiatiara FC's players were relieved. Samuel de Souza was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Wen Wei Di. The Ibiatiara FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Corinthians Virtual FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
