After a rather tough play, Dark Dragons's Frédson Santana got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After some careless play in the Dark Dragons defense, Paulo Ganix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felipe Pires. The Dark Dragons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Pires should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo da Silveira in the 7th minute of play forced Dark Dragons's goalkeeper Felipe Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Paulo Ganix managed to get in a good position for a shot. td2's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Ganix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Dark Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Ganix came free, but Felipe Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Ganix went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 28 minutes into the match, td2's goalkeeper Sandro Mesquita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Paulo Fernandes. With his leg Sandro Mesquita managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Dark Dragons's José Paulo Fernandes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Laerte Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Anderson Loureiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. td2's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark Dragons the free kick. After 36 played minutes td2 got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Loureiro. td2's Marcelo Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Ganix in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Pires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Paulo Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Sandro Mesquita made a huge save. Rômulo da Silveira hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Paulo Fernandes to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Dark Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Mazinho Peres. In the 57th match minute, td2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Ganix to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dark Dragons's goalkeeper Felipe Pires, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rômulo da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Dark Dragons's goalkeeper Felipe Pires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Ganix. Felipe Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, td2's Paulo Ganix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Pires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sandro Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Paulo Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Dark Dragons booed when td2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Paulo Ganix notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Dark Dragons's Felipe Pires. Felipe Pires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frédson Santana hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes, td2's Pedro Alfonso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felipe Pires came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in td2 reached it. In the 83rd minute of the match Pedro Alfonso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felipe Pires showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcelo Cruz struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Felipe Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for td2. td2's Marcelo Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Paulo Ganix notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Dark Dragons's Felipe Pires.
