Paulo Ganix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Vides having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as td2's Paulo Ganix slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cláudio Vides. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Rômulo da Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metegelo de Piracicaba FC's Cláudio Vides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilian Costa struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Sandro Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Metegelo de Piracicaba FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilian Costa in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandro Mesquita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anderson Loureiro hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute of the match Hílton Xavier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sandro Mesquita showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 36 in the game by Paulo Ganix from a close distance when the talented Cláudio Vides managed to make a qualified save. Metegelo de Piracicaba FC's players were relieved. After having played for 44 minutes, Pedro Alfonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. td2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Alfonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rômulo da Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cláudio Vides. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rômulo da Silveira ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilian Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sandro Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Costa in the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 played minutes td2 got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Cruz. In the 56th minute, Paulo Ganix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gildo Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Rômulo da Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metegelo de Piracicaba FC's Cláudio Vides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dário Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Metegelo de Piracicaba FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Costa. Reinaldo Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Wilian Costa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sandro Mesquita. The goal made the score 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Ganix in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Vides saved Metegelo de Piracicaba FC from getting behind. Rômulo da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cláudio Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. td2's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
