Sandro Mesquita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Ganix in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fábio Zonta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Humberto Dionísio charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Dionísio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot by Pedro Alfonso from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Luiz Fábio Zonta's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Elias Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Piraputanga's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Zonta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Ganix. Sandro Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válter Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Piraputanga booed when td2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Lucas took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandro Mesquita. Sandro Mesquita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Piraputanga's Luiz Fábio Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rômulo da Silveira in the 37th minute of play. Rômulo da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Zonta having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Lucas made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, td2's goal looked a bit too open when Válter Nóbrega came free, but Sandro Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Válter Nóbrega during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Piraputanga's Válter Nóbrega got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute of the match, Válter Nóbrega tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sandro Mesquita saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luiz Fábio Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Ganix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fábio Zonta came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by td2's Anderson Loureiro. But to his dismay, Anderson Loureiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 70th minute, Alexandre Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Piraputanga defense, Paulo Ganix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fábio Zonta. The Piraputanga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fábio Zonta should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clóvis Vides during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Clóvis Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, td2's goalkeeper Sandro Mesquita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Lucas. In the 87th minute of the match Pedro Alfonso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Fábio Zonta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rômulo da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Luiz Fábio Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rômulo da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Paulo Ganix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
