Paulo Ganix started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rômulo da Silveira in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Liberato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute Leopoldo Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zahariz FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Juarês Duarte hit a great ball. Zahariz FC's Rui Liberato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Zahariz FC from getting a goal against them. Paulo Ganix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Rui Liberato made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Gerber in the 34th minute of play forced td2's goalkeeper Sandro Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandro Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anísio Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Leopoldo Gerber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zahariz FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopoldo Gerber was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Ganix in the 64th minute of play forced Zahariz FC's goalkeeper Rui Liberato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Gerber in the 69th minute of play forced td2's goalkeeper Sandro Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to td2 getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Marcelo Cruz hit a great ball. Frederico Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, td2's goalkeeper Sandro Mesquita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Gerber. Rômulo da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Zahariz FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
