Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Raphael Prestes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Raphael Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 minutes, Walmyr Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piraputanga and the Metegelo de Piracicaba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes, Metegelo de Piracicaba FC's Leonardo Toledo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Zonta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Metegelo de Piracicaba FC reached it. Cláudio Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Nóbrega in the 7th minute of the match. Elias Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Vides having to interfere. A collision led to Piraputanga getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Walmyr Fonseca hit a great ball. Piraputanga's Luiz Fábio Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Prestes in the 14th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Metegelo de Piracicaba FC got a freekick which was hit by Luan Zanette. After having played for 26 minutes, Elias Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piraputanga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Fábio Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Prestes in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Toledo in the 31st minute of play forced Piraputanga's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Metegelo de Piracicaba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Prestes to maneuver through the defense. Piraputanga's Elias Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elias Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Elias Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Metegelo de Piracicaba FC got a freekick which was hit by Dário Aguiar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Lucas to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Lucas in the 54th minute of play forced Metegelo de Piracicaba FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Leonardo Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58thth minute of the game Raphael Prestes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piraputanga's Luiz Fábio Zonta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Elias Lucas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cláudio Vides. Metegelo de Piracicaba FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Lucas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Metegelo de Piracicaba FC's zone, Válter Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio Vides came out of the goal and Válter Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Elias Lucas came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Piraputanga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Lucas couldn't finish the play. Cláudio Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Lucas in the 69th minute of the match. Duarte Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Vides having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Leonardo Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cláudio Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elias Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Piraputanga's Elias Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Piraputanga were the better team. Piraputanga's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
