Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) União Flasco's Eurico Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th match minute, União Flasco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fellipe Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Sten Wik successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Paraibano in the 25th minute of play forced União Flasco's goalkeeper Sten Wik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eurico Vides came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the União Flasco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eurico Vides couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, União Flasco's Sten Wik got control of the ball when Remo Freire tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st match minute, União Flasco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fellipe Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Fellipe Soeiro hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Sten Wik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Bittencourt in the 34th minute of play. Elentínus Sigfastsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Laions FC's zone, Eurico Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hortêncio Alcântara came out of the goal and Eurico Vides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Elentínus Sigfastsson took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hortêncio Alcântara. Hortêncio Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bernardinho Lara hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Eurico Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fellipe Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laions FC's Hortêncio Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elentínus Sigfastsson in the 79th minute of play. When Eurico Vides got free in front of the goal in the 89th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Hortêncio Alcântara was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Elentínus Sigfastsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Hortêncio Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bernardinho Lara fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laions FC's protests and gave Bernardinho Lara a yellow card for diving instead. Hortêncio Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elentínus Sigfastsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elentínus Sigfastsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hortêncio Alcântara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
