The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Geovanni Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Régis Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, PREMIUM DOkS's Hamílton de Brito got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Geovanni Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovanni Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis Leme having to interfere. Hélio Paulista charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélio Paulista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes PREMIUM DOkS got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Paulista. Régis Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanni Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredinho de Salles during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, PREMIUM DOkS's Alfredinho de Salles got a free kick in the 20th minute. Régis Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Pena in the 21st minute of the match. José Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, José Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Eduardo Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Paulista in the 31st minute of play. Romeu Araújo charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeu Araújo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Romeu Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute Geovanni Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When José Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Canelada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Guerra couldn't finish the play. Canelada FC's José Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geovanni Pena took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Régis Leme. Régis Leme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Guerra to make the kick off. 0-4 became the score in the 60th minute when Geovanni Pena elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Carlos Eduardo Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Joélson Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Carlos Eduardo Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by César Vidal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With his leg Régis Leme managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Canelada FC's Geovanni Pena fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Régis Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Luiz Guilherme de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canelada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Guilherme de Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Canelada FC's Geovanni Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Régis Leme was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and José Guerra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Guerra really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After some careless play in the PREMIUM DOkS defense, José Guerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Régis Leme. The PREMIUM DOkS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Régis Leme should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the match, PREMIUM DOkS's goal looked a bit too open when José Guerra came free, but Régis Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Régis Leme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovanni Pena went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Canelada FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PREMIUM DOkS.
