The referee ignored PREMIUM DOkS's protests and gave Edgard Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Luiz Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Régis Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Göran Ekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Joélson Mota notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FIEL TUPÃ's Geovanni Arruda. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélio Paulista was the one to do the kick off. If Pedro Luiz Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Régis Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Ekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. PREMIUM DOkS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FIEL TUPÃ the free kick. A collision led to PREMIUM DOkS getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Hélio Paulista hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes PREMIUM DOkS got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Mota. After having played for 82 minutes, Göran Ekberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FIEL TUPÃ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Ekberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Göran Ekberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Régis Leme having to make a save. Although FIEL TUPÃ had been in control for most of the match, PREMIUM DOkS still came away with the win.
