Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Renato Prado started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Nobres Clube e Futebol's Almir Santos got a free kick in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Urandy's zone, Zé Paulo do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro da Rocha came out of the goal and Zé Paulo do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nobres Clube e Futebol's Zé Paulo do Valle in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Urandy's goalie prevented a goal. Zé Paulo do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro da Rocha having to interfere. Leandro da Rocha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Paulo do Valle went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Nobres Clube e Futebol's Zé Carlos Souza got a free kick in the 16th minute. João Carlos do Nascimento took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leandro da Rocha. Leandro da Rocha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Tarcisio Penha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. When Celsinho da Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urandy's protests and gave Celsinho da Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. Celsinho da Rocha hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Zé Paulo do Valle struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Leandro da Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nobres Clube e Futebol. The supporters of Nobres Clube e Futebol booed when Urandy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Renato Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Tarcisio Penha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute of the match, Renato Prado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abelardo Alves saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Zé Paulo do Valle made the kick off in the second half. If Renato Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Urandy's Renato Prado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 65 minutes, Zé Carlos Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nobres Clube e Futebol and the Urandy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Nobres Clube e Futebol got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Souza. In the 68th minute, Tarcisio Penha made a precise shot to the right of Abelardo Alves. Nobres Clube e Futebol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When Renato Prado came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Urandy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renato Prado couldn't finish the play. Renato Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Alves having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Urandy got a freekick which was hit by Maicon de Lara. When Renato Prado came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Urandy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renato Prado couldn't finish the play. João Carlos do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Renato Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Zé Paulo do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Nobres Clube e Futebol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Paulo do Valle couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
