The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Guerra was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Canelada FC's César Vidal got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77thth minute of the game João Carlos do Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canelada FC's Carlos Eduardo Ferraz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Percival Palmeira lost his temper 79 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Abelardo Alves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Canelada FC's José Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If José Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
