Sten Wik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Elentínus Sigfastsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geovanni Arruda. The goal made the score 1-0. João Paulo Tepedino hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 18 minutes, João Paulo Tepedino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the União Flasco and the FIEL TUPÃ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Luís Guilherme Vasconcelos with Elentínus Sigfastsson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Geovanni Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elentínus Sigfastsson in the 22nd minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Quico Sánchez notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of União Flasco's Sten Wik. Sten Wik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 34 played minutes União Flasco got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Motta. Geovanni Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elentínus Sigfastsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Eurico Vides in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geovanni Arruda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Elentínus Sigfastsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geovanni Arruda came out and tried to block the shot, but Elentínus Sigfastsson slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 40th minute. Sten Wik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

Luís Guilherme Vasconcelos made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Genílson Motta immediately put the ball in play. If Jean Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. União Flasco's Sten Wik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Ekberg in the 63rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Quico Sánchez took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Sten Wik to make any attempt to save it. Pedro Luiz Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game was made by Patrick de Azevedo with Fellipe Soeiro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Filipe Neto charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sten Wik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Campidelis in the 93rd minute of play. Many of FIEL TUPÃ's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FIEL TUPÃ may have spent more time on the ball, but União Flasco were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
