PREMIUM DOkS's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélio Paulista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro da Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. PREMIUM DOkS's Régis Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarcisio Penha in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Celsinho da Rocha had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Alfredinho de Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredinho de Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes PREMIUM DOkS got a freekick which was hit by Alfredinho de Salles. With a left leg Régis Leme saved PREMIUM DOkS from getting behind. Luiz Fernando Mesquita charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Fernando Mesquita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes PREMIUM DOkS got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fernando Mesquita. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Tarcisio Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind PREMIUM DOkS's goalkeeper Régis Leme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 86 played minutes Urandy got a freekick which was hit by Renato Prado. João Pedro Nogueira hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Régis Leme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tarcisio Penha in the 96th minute. PREMIUM DOkS succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Urandy had controlled the match.
