Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Canelada FC's José Guerra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Falcão Meireles came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Canelada FC's José Guerra. But to his dismay, José Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Falcão Meireles made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when José Guerra sent off a good shot on target. SportClub Laranja Mecanic's Falcão Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save SportClub Laranja Mecanic from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Guerra in the 15th minute of play forced SportClub Laranja Mecanic's goalkeeper Falcão Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiago Gabriel Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Beto Meira fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canelada FC's protests and gave Beto Meira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Beto Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute José Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Maria Ribeiro during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice moves Geovanni Pena could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Falcão Meireles however easily saved by the left post. Falcão Meireles came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Canelada FC's Geovanni Pena. But to his dismay, Geovanni Pena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 43rd minute, Canelada FC's Cristian Arantes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. With a little luck, SportClub Laranja Mecanic's Falcão Meireles got control of the ball when Geovanni Pena tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Dracena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Eduardo Ferraz made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tiago Gabriel Garcia sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the match, José Guerra notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of SportClub Laranja Mecanic's Falcão Meireles. Falcão Meireles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th minute, Vicente Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute José Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Canelada FC got a freekick which was hit by Kim Söderström. After some careless play in the SportClub Laranja Mecanic defense, Geovanni Pena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Falcão Meireles. The SportClub Laranja Mecanic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Falcão Meireles should have stopped the shot. If Joaquim Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 minutes of play, Canelada FC's Cristian Arantes made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falcão Meireles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geovanni Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Meireles having to interfere. Falcão Meireles came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Canelada FC's José Guerra. But to his dismay, José Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Canelada FC had played much better football throughout.
