But to his dismay, José Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Elentínus Sigfastsson made the kick off in the second half. Kim Söderström hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Eurico Vides took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Eduardo Ferraz. Canelada FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristian Arantes hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Canelada FC's Carlos Eduardo Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paulo Tepedino in the 57th minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Ferraz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 78th minute, Canelada FC's Dé Sergipano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 86th minute, João Paulo Tepedino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The União Flasco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Sten Wik successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 90th match minute, União Flasco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fellipe Soeiro to maneuver through the defense.
