The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manfredo Ferreira to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Boi AD getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Elivélton Palmeira hit a great ball. Rubinho Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfredo Ferreira in the 84th minute of the match. Elivélton Palmeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitório Seco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elivélton Palmeira ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulinho Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rubinho Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Therezina players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Boi AD.
