Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Miguel Barbosa made the kick off and thus started the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardinho Pontes in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezequiel Fonseca saved Utary from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Pontes in the 9th minute of play forced Utary's goalkeeper Ezequiel Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Utary's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Pontes came free, but Ezequiel Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Utary's Frank Pires was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Magno Figueiredo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Miguel Barbosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magno Figueiredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Ramón de Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Fonseca having to interfere. Bernardinho Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ezequiel Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Miguel Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Utary's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magno Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramón de Salles made a kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Ramón de Salles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Utary's Ezequiel Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ezequiel Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramón de Salles's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Magno Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. José Carlos Linhares's late challenge caught a Zundao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Carlos Linhares helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Zundao booed when Utary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes Zundao got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Vaz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardinho Pontes got free with Ezequiel Fonseca in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardinho Pontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Ezequiel Fonseca made a huge save.
