The supporters of Lamina booed when Profeta SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cacá Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kauan Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arí de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Carlos Vargas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Profeta SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lamina the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Profeta SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Vargas to maneuver through the defense. If Hélder Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 13 minutes, Hélder Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Profeta SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hélder Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Kauan Costa made a huge save. 17 minutes into the match, Profeta SS's Arí de Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kauan Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Arí de Salles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kauan Costa, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Galvão in the 23rd minute of play forced Profeta SS's goalkeeper Álvaro Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Kauan Costa made a huge save. When Profeta SS's Arí de Salles, in the 33rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Profeta SS. After 35 minutes of play, Profeta SS's Hélder Silveira made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kauan Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kauan Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hélder Silveira went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Otávio Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arí de Salles to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Lamina's Duda Silveira got a free kick in the 56th minute. Hélder Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Edson Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Lamina's Geraldo Corrêa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Álvaro Saraiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arí de Salles in the 85th minute of play forced Lamina's goalkeeper Kauan Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Arí de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Profeta SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Arí de Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kauan Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Silveira in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kauan Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Silveira in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kauan Costa saved Lamina from getting behind. When Arí de Salles came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Profeta SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arí de Salles couldn't finish the play. Cacá Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Arí de Salles struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Kauan Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Profeta SS.
