The audience was convinced that Dráusio Luz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafinha Figueiredo was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The referee ignored Umorama FC's protests and gave Armandinho Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. 57 minutes into the game, one of Umorama FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Umorama FC's Rafinha Figueiredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Umorama FC from getting a goal against them. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 88th minute, but Rafinha Figueiredo got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Umorama FC hanging dry this time. In the 89th minute Inaris Cult were awarded a corner. Augusto Alves went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristóvão de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Dráusio Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inaris Cult's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráusio Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
