Spectators: 7531 (Terracing: 5687, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomás Cordeiro started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Maxguaruja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Netto to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, Marcus Madureira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ismael Braga kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 5thth minute. Though ot was a great shot BECO DA CURUJA's keeper Viktor Sariyski was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Gilberto Severos short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Viktor Sariyski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Viktor Sariyski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Severo in the 10th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Gilberto Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnaldo dos Santos hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. BECO DA CURUJA's Viktor Sariyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Severo in the 21st minute of play. Matías Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to BECO DA CURUJA getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tomás Cordeiro hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorginho Dias in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viktor Sariyski saved BECO DA CURUJA from getting behind. Viktor Sariyski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the game, one of Maxguaruja:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Viktor Sariyski was a little too slow when Gilberto Severo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 40th minute, Marcus Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, BECO DA CURUJA's goalkeeper Viktor Sariyski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Braga. Matías Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Cordeiro in the 45th minute of play. Gilberto Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Viktor Sariyski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ismael Braga charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Braga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ismael Braga hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. BECO DA CURUJA's Viktor Sariyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Braga in the 59th minute of play. Viktor Sariyski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Madureira in the 72nd minute of play forced Maxguaruja's goalkeeper Matías Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Maxguaruja defense, Marcus Madureira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matías Loureiro. The Maxguaruja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matías Loureiro should have stopped the shot. Marcus Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Matías Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, BECO DA CURUJA's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Braga came free, but Viktor Sariyski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Ismael Braga suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Guto Negri fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BECO DA CURUJA's protests and gave Guto Negri a yellow card for diving instead. Maxguaruja's Vladimir de Azevedo was substituted for Ismael Braga. In the 82nd minute, one of BECO DA CURUJA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BECO DA CURUJA. Marcus Madureira hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute Jorginho Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Sariyski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, BECO DA CURUJA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Simões to maneuver through the defense. After 97 minutes of play, Maxguaruja's Gilberto Severo made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Sariyski was left in no man's land by his defense there! BECO DA CURUJA's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Maxguaruja had won, even though BECO DA CURUJA had held more of the ball.
