The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Nóbrega got free with Cristóvão de Andrade in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maicon Arósio struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Cristóvão de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madruga F.C. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Saldanha in the 8th minute of play forced Real Madruga F.C's goalkeeper Gilson Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th match minute, Real Madruga F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Arósio to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Maicon Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Dráusio Luz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilson Vander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd match minute, Real Madruga F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilson Vander having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Real Madruga F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Arósio to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Tomás Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madruga F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Nóbrega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristóvão de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovânio Araújo during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Inaris Cult getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Geovânio Araújo hit a great ball. In the game's 30th minute Real Madruga F.C's Arthur Donato took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Cristóvão de Andrade and thus the score was 1-1. If Mazinho de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the match, Real Madruga F.C's Tomás Nóbrega sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristóvão de Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 37 played minutes Real Madruga F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Tepedino. Augusto Alves was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Nóbrega made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho de Barros in the 55th minute of play forced Inaris Cult's goalkeeper Cristóvão de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Tomás Nóbrega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inaris Cult's Cristóvão de Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Maicon Arósio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Cristóvão de Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristóvão de Andrade came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madruga F.C's Mazinho de Barros. But to his dismay, Mazinho de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Gilson Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Saldanha in the 70th minute of play. In the 70th minute Tomás Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomás Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Nóbrega struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Cristóvão de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madruga F.C. The supporters of Real Madruga F.C booed when Inaris Cult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cristóvão de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilson Vander having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Madruga F.C fully deserved thier win.
