But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agostinho Soares couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agostinho Soares got free with Sérgio Falcão in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedrinho Capixaba was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Hyper9 -DMZ- defense, Agostinho Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sérgio Falcão. The Hyper9 -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio Falcão should have stopped the shot. Sérgio Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sants booed when Hyper9 -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Serafim Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiago Pinho hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Serafim Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Hyper9 -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Serafim Mota came free, but Sérgio Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
