Geovanni Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Faria in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Madureira in the 10th minute of play forced Estrela da Manhã -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Geovanni Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Ivo Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Estrela da Manhã -DMZ-'s Ivo Bastos got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Madureira in the 19th minute of play forced Estrela da Manhã -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Geovanni Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Víktor Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viktor Sariyski. BECO DA CURUJA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Víktor Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Geovanni Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Cordeiro in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, BECO DA CURUJA's Viktor Sariyski got control of the ball when Carlos Brasil tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the BECO DA CURUJA defense, Carlos Brasil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Sariyski. The BECO DA CURUJA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Sariyski should have stopped the shot. Inácio Vergílio charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inácio Vergílio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes BECO DA CURUJA got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Vergílio. Viktor Sariyski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Tomás Cordeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovanni Mineiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 41 minutes into the game, Marcus Madureira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Geovanni Mineiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half BECO DA CURUJA were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Víktor Figueiredo to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomás Cordeiro scored 2-4 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geovanni Mineiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Carlos Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 63rd minute of the match Inácio Vergílio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Inácio Vergílio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Inácio Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Alex Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, BECO DA CURUJA's Marcus Madureira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Faria in the 76th minute of play forced Estrela da Manhã -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Geovanni Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Madureira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The BECO DA CURUJA fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when BECO DA CURUJA's Marcus Madureira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Geovanni Mineiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Madureira's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Faria got free with Geovanni Mineiro in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Viktor Sariyski came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrela da Manhã -DMZ-'s Víktor Figueiredo. But to his dismay, Víktor Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-6. If Marcus Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Carlos Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
