When Ismael Braga came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Maxguaruja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Braga couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Elói Vaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coringão MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Matías Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matías Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Vaz in the 17th minute of the match. Ismael Braga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Augusto Moraes firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 23rd minute, Elói Vaz had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Délio Pimenta during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Coringão MZ booed when Maxguaruja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Délio Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ismael Braga came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Maxguaruja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Braga couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the game, Rodriguinho de Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maxguaruja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coringão MZ the free kick. After 29 played minutes Maxguaruja got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguinho de Medeiros. When Jardel Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Coringão MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jardel Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Maxguaruja getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gilberto Severo hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Braga got free with Pedro Augusto Moraes in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Maxguaruja's goalkeeper Matías Loureiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 52 minutes of play, Maxguaruja's Gilberto Severo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Augusto Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 55 played minutes Coringão MZ got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Madureira. Pedro Augusto Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Severo in the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to Coringão MZ getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Michel Almeida hit a great ball. Jorginho Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Augusto Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Severo in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute Jorginho Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Severo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Augusto Moraes was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. The supporters of Coringão MZ booed when Maxguaruja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Jorginho Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maxguaruja's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorginho Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Augusto Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Augusto Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Maxguaruja's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Acácio Paraense in the 75th minute. The corner led Maxguaruja's Acácio Paraense to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Augusto Moraes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ismael Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jorginho Dias came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Maxguaruja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorginho Dias couldn't finish the play. Ismael Braga struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Pedro Augusto Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maxguaruja. 87 minutes into the match, Coringão MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Severo came free, but Pedro Augusto Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Ismael Braga notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Coringão MZ's Pedro Augusto Moraes. Pedro Augusto Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 95 played minutes Maxguaruja got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Dias. When the referee ended the match the Maxguaruja players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
