After 6 minutes, Thiago Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hyper9 -DMZ- and the Maxguaruja players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hyper9 -DMZ- getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Thiago Pinho hit a great ball. When Gilberto Severo came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Maxguaruja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Severo couldn't finish the play. Hyper9 -DMZ-'s José Maria de Barros quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Délio Pimenta, made in the 10th minute of the game. After 13 played minutes Hyper9 -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Trigo. A collision led to Hyper9 -DMZ- getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ronaldo Braga hit a great ball. Sérgio Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-1 became the score in the 26th minute when Gilberto Severo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hyper9 -DMZ-'s Ronaldo Braga got a free kick in the 30th minute. Thiago Pinho tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Sérgio Falcão. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 33rd minute. Sérgio Falcão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Severo went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Severo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ismael Braga might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sérgio Falcão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Braga ran back to his position shaking his head. Sérgio Falcão came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Maxguaruja's Ismael Braga. But to his dismay, Ismael Braga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 62nd minute, Ismael Braga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Falcão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When Maxguaruja's Gilberto Severo in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hyper9 -DMZ-'s goalie prevented a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Hyper9 -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Sérgio Falcão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Braga. Vladimir de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sérgio Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldo Braga hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Ismael Braga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Falcão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Ismael Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Maxguaruja's Délio Pimenta got a free kick in the 81st minute. Maxguaruja's Ismael Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Hyper9 -DMZ-'s zone, Gilberto Severo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Falcão came out of the goal and Gilberto Severo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conrado Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Ismael Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxguaruja's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
