The supporters of Coringão MZ booed when Real Madruga F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Nóbregas short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Pedro Augusto Moraes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elói Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gilson Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coringão MZ's Mário de Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 21 minutes, Elói Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mazinho de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Michel Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Arthur Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madruga F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Arthur Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Augusto Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vivaldo Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gilson Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Real Madruga F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Almeida came free, but Gilson Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elói Vaz was the one to do the kick off. Mário de Amorim struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Gilson Vander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coringão MZ. Gilson Vander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elói Vaz in the 54th minute. A collision led to Real Madruga F.C getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ademar Maciel hit a great ball. Michel Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Coringão MZ's Michel Almeida got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Mário de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madruga F.C's zone, Elói Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilson Vander came out of the goal and Elói Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Coringão MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Nóbrega came free, but Pedro Augusto Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico Tinoco got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Real Madruga F.C's Frederico Tinoco got a free kick in the 95th minute. If Elói Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Coringão MZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
