Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Júlio Souto kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Inaris Cult's zone, Dadá Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóvão de Andrade came out of the goal and Dadá Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Passos in the 12th minute of play forced Inaris Cult's goalkeeper Cristóvão de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredinho Ribeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrézinho Vieira went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Saldanha in the 27th minute of play forced Miranga EC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Saldanha in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredinho Ribeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dráusio Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Ribeiro having to interfere. Alfredinho Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute, Angelo Saldanha fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alfredinho Ribeiro, passed just outside the right post. When Cristian Nogueira fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miranga EC's protests and gave Cristian Nogueira a yellow card for diving instead. Cristian Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Angelo Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inaris Cult's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Saldanha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
