Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rafinha Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Severo in the 3rd minute of the match. Maxguaruja's Matías Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Prata in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Ismael Braga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maxguaruja fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Arlindo Tróia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Umorama FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maxguaruja the free kick. Acácio Paraense, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Braga in the 16th minute of play forced Umorama FC's goalkeeper Rafinha Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Gilberto Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafinha Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Umorama FC's zone, Ismael Braga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafinha Figueiredo came out of the goal and Ismael Braga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Ismael Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maxguaruja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Braga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Allan Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Severo in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafinha Figueiredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorginho Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maxguaruja's Jorginho Dias suffered a sore foot after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 28 minutes into the game, Olavo Prata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Umorama FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maxguaruja the free kick. The supporters of Maxguaruja booed when Umorama FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Acácio Paraense, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gilberto Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olavo Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Matías Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vladimir de Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maxguaruja's protests and gave Vladimir de Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. Vladimir de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Armandinho Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umorama FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armandinho Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matías Loureiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flávio Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Loureiro having to interfere. When Olavo Prata came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Umorama FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olavo Prata couldn't finish the play. Rafinha Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Braga in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Umorama FC's goalkeeper Rafinha Figueiredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olavo Prata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Armandinho Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Braga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafinha Figueiredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Rafinha Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cléberson Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Cléberson Toscano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Gilberto Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maxguaruja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafinha Figueiredo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ismael Braga sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Umorama FC's goalkeeper Rafinha Figueiredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Braga. Gilberto Severo struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Rafinha Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maxguaruja. The Umorama FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Maxguaruja were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
