The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Grêmio Reitoria F.C's Kauã Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erivaldo Souto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Téo França hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Kauã Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio Reitoria F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauã Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David de Queiroz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garcilaso Cabanela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The Grêmio Reitoria F.C fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Grêmio Reitoria F.C's Kauã Cruz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Erivaldo Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauã Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
