The referee showed Ivo Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivo Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Matas FC's Aivar Annast got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 played minutes JJTrips FC got a freekick which was hit by Célio Lago. After a rather tough play, Matas FC's Marcus Ferreira got a free kick in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, JJTrips FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel de Castro came free, but Oséias Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Matas FC booed when JJTrips FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitório Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the JJTrips FC defense, Charles Hermes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oséias Bezerra. The JJTrips FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oséias Bezerra should have stopped the shot. Matas FC's Manuel de Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Hermes in the 35th minute of play forced JJTrips FC's goalkeeper Oséias Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Jailson Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Manuel de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel de Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséias Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anderson Pimenta's late challenge caught a Matas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anderson Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. Matas FC made a substitution. Osmar Jacinto replaced Marcus Ferreira. Osmar Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Matas FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel de Castro made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Simão Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JJTrips FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matas FC's Edinho Valadares was substituted for Osmar Jacinto. A hard shot 67 in the game by Manuel de Castro from a close distance when the talented Oséias Bezerra managed to make a qualified save. JJTrips FC's players were relieved. If Manuel de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oséias Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Manuel de Castro sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the game, Manuel de Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Oséias Bezerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Charles Hermes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oséias Bezerra came out and tried to block the shot, but Charles Hermes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 88th minute. Manuel de Castros short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Oséias Bezerra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Manuel de Castro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oséias Bezerra came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel de Castro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded Matas FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than JJTrips FC.
