David de Queiroz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dário Palmeira having to make a save. Cauan Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 played minutes MaconhaFC got a freekick which was hit by José Vítor Senna. Cauan Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Palmeira having to interfere. If Guto Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MaconhaFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capitão Poço F.C the free kick. After having played for 41 minutes, David de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capitão Poço F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but David de Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guto Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Erivaldo Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cauan Leal made the kick off in the second half. Erivaldo Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfredo Nóbrega in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of MaconhaFC booed when Capitão Poço F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Guto Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the MaconhaFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guto Gomes couldn't finish the play. Dário Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David de Queiroz in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Cauan Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capitão Poço F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Cauan Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dário Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Guto Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Erivaldo Souto. Capitão Poço F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Guto Gomes's late challenge caught a Capitão Poço F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guto Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MaconhaFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Guto Gomes hit a great ball. Dário Palmeira made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when David de Queiroz sent off a good shot on target. After 77 played minutes Capitão Poço F.C got a freekick which was hit by Téo França. If Manfredo Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Capitão Poço F.C's goalkeeper Erivaldo Souto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manfredo Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Souto having to interfere. The MaconhaFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Capitão Poço F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
