In the 7thth minute of the game Maicon Siqueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JJTrips FC's Oséias Bezerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Monobloco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Reis came free, but Armando Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Murillo Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simão Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Pinheiro having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Simão Godoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Pinheiro was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Marcos Cerezo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Oséias Bezerra made a huge save. Armando Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Maicon Siqueira struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Oséias Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monobloco FC. Oséias Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Gino Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monobloco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gino Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséias Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 played minutes Monobloco FC got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Maranhense. Armando Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by JJTrips FC's Simão Godoi. But to his dismay, Simão Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simão Godoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. JJTrips FC's Oséias Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Siqueira in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maicon Siqueira in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oséias Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simão Godoi got free with Armando Pinheiro in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Monobloco FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. João Carlos Maranhense hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Maicon Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monobloco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maicon Siqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oséias Cunha during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Monobloco FC's Maicon Siqueira got a free kick in the 94th minute. JJTrips FC played a much better game than Monobloco FC and deserved their victory. The Monobloco FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
