In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suedde F.C's goalkeeper Claudinho Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sandro Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Suedde F.C's Sandro Queiroz suffered a sore thigh after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Wilton de Barros's late challenge caught a Suedde F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilton de Barros helped the player get up and apologised. Geovânio Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Gildo Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gildo Aguiar made a kick off. Chiniqua's André Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gildo Aguiar in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinho Lima saved Suedde F.C from getting behind. Arthur Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Geovânio Mendonça made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Rodriguinho Pinho took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Geovânio Mendonça to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Suedde F.C's Falcão Viana got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 79 played minutes, Chiniqua's Dorian das Neves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudinho Lima came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chiniqua reached it. Anísio Paranaense charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anísio Paranaense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
