Capitão Poço F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monobloco FC the free kick. In the 77th minute of the match Maicon Siqueira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erivaldo Souto skillfully saved the ball. If David de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Capitão Poço F.C booed when Monobloco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chants of Monobloco FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Capitão Poço F.C had held the ball for most of the match.
