The supporters of Capitão Poço F.C booed when Chiniqua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes Capitão Poço F.C got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Godoi. Cauan Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Mendonça having to interfere. Cauan Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Geovânio Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Capitão Poço F.C's Erivaldo Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Maia in the 24th minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, Chiniqua's Gildo Aguiar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erivaldo Souto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd match minute, Capitão Poço F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo França to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Chiniqua's goal looked a bit too open when David de Queiroz came free, but Geovânio Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Maia in the 37th minute of play forced Capitão Poço F.C's goalkeeper Erivaldo Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes of play, Chiniqua's André Maia made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erivaldo Souto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Capitão Poço F.C defense, Gildo Aguiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erivaldo Souto. The Capitão Poço F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erivaldo Souto should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gildo Aguiar was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Chiniqua's Gildo Aguiar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Cauan Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Mendonça having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Chiniqua's Gildo Aguiar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erivaldo Souto. In the 62nd minute, Téo França got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gildo Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Souto having to interfere. André Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves André Maia could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Erivaldo Souto however easily saved by the left post. 78 minutes into the game, Gildo Aguiar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erivaldo Souto. Gildo Aguiar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. After a rather tough play, Capitão Poço F.C's David de Queiroz got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Erivaldo Souto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Ortiz in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Maia got free with Erivaldo Souto in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Capitão Poço F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chiniqua's performance. The match ended with a win for Chiniqua.
