It was a penalty for Monobloco FC! Monobloco FC's Armando Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã Cruz in the 11th minute of play. Kauã Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Pinheiro having to interfere. Daniel Augustyniak kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Kauã Cruz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Armando Pinheiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Didi do Nascimento hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kauã Cruz got free with Armando Pinheiro in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Armando Pinheiro was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 39 played minutes Grêmio Reitoria F.C got a freekick which was hit by Marco Antunes. Kauã Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Armando Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Kauã Cruz sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Kauã Cruz scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 54 played minutes Grêmio Reitoria F.C got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Cruz. Monobloco FC's Gino Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shi Yuan Ming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Carlos Maranhense's late challenge caught a Grêmio Reitoria F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Marcos Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monobloco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Cerezo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garcilaso Cabanela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kauã Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
