Romeu Velasco came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Videira AD's Nico Rossi. But to his dismay, Nico Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nico Rossi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Romeu Velasco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Romeu Velasco was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Nico Rossi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nico Rossi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 14 minutes into the match, Curva de Rio's goalkeeper Romeu Velasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nico Rossi. The supporters of Videira AD booed when Curva de Rio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeu Velasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico Rossi's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Nico Rossi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Romeu Velasco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nico Rossis short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Romeu Velasco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marquinhos Mesquita struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Romeu Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Videira AD. Nico Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nico Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Romeu Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeu Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Nico Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Videira AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Nico Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeu Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romeu Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Dadá Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeu Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeu Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Rossi in the 86th minute of play. After 86 minutes of play Videira AD's Arlindo Bastos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Arlindo Bastos hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The supporters of Videira AD booed when Curva de Rio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Nico Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Hoffmann in the 94th minute of play forced Curva de Rio's goalkeeper Romeu Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
