Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Romeu Velasco came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Monobloco FC's Maicon Siqueira. But to his dismay, Maicon Siqueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gino Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dadá Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Monobloco FC's Armando Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Arruda in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Dadá Secco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Pinheiro. Monobloco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dadá Secco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 31 minutes, Tales Ferraz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monobloco FC and the Curva de Rio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tales Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Tales Soeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monobloco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curva de Rio the free kick. Tales Soeiro hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Tiago Moraes from long distance, 38 minutes into the match, got Armando Pinheiro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Monobloco FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. João Carlos Maranhense hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, Marcos Cerezo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Romeu Velasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 46 minutes into the match, Monobloco FC's goalkeeper Armando Pinheiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jano Medeiros.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maicon Siqueira to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Curva de Rio booed when Monobloco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Carlos Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Arruda went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Jano Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Velasco having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Tales Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Marcos Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monobloco FC's Armando Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Arruda in the 72nd minute of play. Armando Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jano Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monobloco FC's Marcos Cerezo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 played minutes, Curva de Rio's Ademar Viana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armando Pinheiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Curva de Rio reached it. Armando Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Arruda in the 96th minute of play. Chants of Monobloco FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Curva de Rio had held the ball for most of the match.
