Manuel de Castro took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erivaldo Souto. Erivaldo Souto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 9th minute, Charles Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Cuenca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Erivaldo Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisito Oton might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erivaldo Souto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisito Oton ran back to his position shaking his head. Erivaldo Souto came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Matas FC's Manuel de Castro. But to his dismay, Manuel de Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Charles Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Souto having to interfere. Erivaldo Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Ferreira in the 27th minute of play. Erivaldo Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Oton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Charles Hermes notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Capitão Poço F.C's Erivaldo Souto. Erivaldo Souto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Téo França struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Dagoberto Marinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capitão Poço F.C. When Luís Fernando Moreno fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capitão Poço F.C's protests and gave Luís Fernando Moreno a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Capitão Poço F.C getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Luís Fernando Moreno hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Capitão Poço F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel de Castro came free, but Erivaldo Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Marinho having to interfere. After the first half Matas FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cauan Leal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erivaldo Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Oton in the 56th minute of play. David de Queiroz hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Erivaldo Souto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Charles Hermes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 63 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Hermes in the 67th minute of play forced Capitão Poço F.C's goalkeeper Erivaldo Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Capitão Poço F.C's zone, Manuel de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erivaldo Souto came out of the goal and Manuel de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 71 played minutes Capitão Poço F.C got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Vides. If David de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matas FC made a substitution. Bruninho Falcão replaced Jonathan Cuenca. The audience thought a goal was coming when Álvaro Nascimento got free with Erivaldo Souto in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Charles Hermes fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matas FC's protests and gave Charles Hermes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Capitão Poço F.C booed when Matas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bruninho Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Capitão Poço F.C's Erivaldo Souto got control of the ball when Luisito Oton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erivaldo Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Oton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erivaldo Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Hermes in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Manuel de Castro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erivaldo Souto. The goal made the score 0-6. The Capitão Poço F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Matas FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
